Example Project Default Usage

This example permits convenient storage of project defaults for information purposes. These values must be set at project creation and they cannot be changed or updated in a meaningful way. The scenario requires the creation of the "primary" instance of a project level coordinate system. This record is the basis for all subsequent chained, 3D coordinate systems.

The portion of the database used to load this example is shown in the Figure 2 below.

Creation of the "primary� coordinate system follows the pattern described above in the section EXAMPLE COORDINATE SYSTEM USAGE.

Project Scope Data � Project_Default

Complete, fully defined 3D coordinate systems are an assembly of attributes including; CRS, VERTICAL_REFERENCE, AZMUTH_REFERENCE, COORDINATE_SYSTEM_TYPE, and FROM_COORD_SYS_ID.

Loading Sequence

      The project default instances are automatically loaded during project create. They cannot be changed or altered in any way.
