It also shows the volume of fluid the tank contains when the fluid height is at that level. For example, tank strapping tables commonly chart the capacity volume in increments of 1/4 inch from the bottom to the top of the tank. Therefore, there will be an entry in the strapping table for each 1/4 inch increment of height in the tank. |
