The user or a business associate with a remote connection can select the data from the collection of surveys and lines. The user is presented with boundary information of 3D survey and 2D line information with a GIS application. The user can draw a rectangle around the data of interest and elect to get a quote or purchase the data. The rectangle used for selection can cover a partial 3D survey, a partial 2D line, a full 2D line, or a full 3D survey as presented in the diagram below. Part of the data may already be owned by the company of the business associate.
