The Seismic_Line link in Seismic_Dataset_2D identifies the ACTUAL line generated using the dataset. In 2D surveys, many datasets may be used to create a single actual line. This link identifies which dataset was used to generate this VIRTUAL seismic line segment of the actual seismic line. The preferred way to represent the line segments which make up the line is to use the Seismic_Line_Segment entity rather than creating VIRTUAL lines.
