Borehole_Target

This is the intersection of a borehole and a drill target. Presence in this table asserts that this borehole is intended to penetrate this target at a given point indicated by the northing and easting with respect to the target frame of reference.

Drill_Target

This is a geometric body describing a volume in the earth intended to be a target of one or more boreholes. It may be composed of an oriented face with a thickness (legacy method) or may reference a Geologic_Feature defined by points in 3-D space.

Drill_Target_Set

A collection of drill targets.

Target_Boundary_Segment

This table describes a single segment of a drill target face boundary. It may be a line, arc, or point. It has a starting point usually defined by the position and orientation of the end of the previous boundary segment. The order in which boundary segments must be traversed is defined by the segment number. The meaningful dimensions of the segment are defined by the segment type.

Target_Shape

This is extended information about a Drill_Target representing it as an oriented face with a thickness. The face may have a rotatable shape on the dip surface. Shapes on the dip surface have a frame of reference and center point with respect to which the dimensions are given. A target may have a single thickness (divided into above and below parts) represented at the target reference point or a value at each polygon vertex.
