This submodel contains the classes and associations related to artificial lift such as ESP (electric submersible pumps) and Sucker rods. Artificial lifting methods are used when the pressure from natural reservoir drive decreases to the point that well production becomes unacceptable. The most common methods of providing artificial lift employ pumps and gas injection.
