ESP Operating Properties

The nominal properties, and even the properties of an Electric Submersible Pump (ESP), that can change only when the item is manufactured are stored in the class appropriate for the component. The properties of the component or system that change on a more frequent basis are stored in operating property set classes.

For example, the class ESP_Oper_Pty_Set contains the properties of an ESP system that change over time. The activity that measured these properties should be instantiated as a Generic_Welliste_Activity and linked to the property record that was the result of this activity.

As a general rule for operating property sets, only the attributes recorded by an activity should be populated in a property set record. This is to ensure that we can track who measured what properties.
