Introduction
The model defined in Seabed allows users to store and manage 3D survey processed seismic data from an interpretation application project. The idea is to archive, retrieve, and manage the 3D survey processed seismic data loaded from different projects of an interpretation workstation. The 3D survey seismic data is cataloged/stored in terms area defined by grids and binsets. The trace data is mostly recorded as single or multiple files from the workstation.
For a completeness of the data stored in the model, Application project 3D seismic requires Application_Project, Project_Datastore to identify the project on interpretation workstation; Seismic_Survey, Survey_3D describing the survey; R_Cartographic_Ref_System referring to projection used at the time of the survey; Cube_Lattice defining locations and extent of seismic data; Survey_Boundary defining the extent of Dataset in spatial coordinates; Business_Associate describing the ownership of the survey; Seismic_Dataset defining a class to represent the data in the workstation file; and Geophysical_Inventory containing the workstation files.
